Bridgeton police for Nov. 24

  • Jason Wedderburn, 31, of the first block of Church Street, was arrested at 12:50 p.m. Sunday on a Bridgeton Joint Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear. Wedderburn’s bail was revoked and he was taken to Cumberland County Jail.
  • Matthew Howard Wright, 29, of the 200 block of Ramah Road, was arrested at 11:26 p.m. Monday on a Glassboro Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear. Wright posted $550 bail.
  • Nathaniel M. Wilcox, 39, of the first block of Birch Street, was arrested at 1 a.m. Tuesday on three counts of theft. Wilcox was taken to county jail on $30,000 bail.
  • Marino Bautista, 38, of Absecon, was arrested at 7:58 a.m. Tuesday on a Pleasantville Municipal Court warrant.
  • The Bridgeton Police Department is investigating a residential burglary that occurred Sunday between noon and 5 p.m on the first block of Park Avenue. A victim at the scene told police that someone threw a rock through their window and entered the residence, stealing jewelry and electronics in the process.
  • Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Monday around 6:37 p.m. on the 300 block of Atlantic Street where a victim said he was hit over the head with a firearm and had his wallet stolen. The two accused suspects are described as a black male wearing a black shirt and holding a black handgun; the second suspect is a white male, tall with a beard. The two were last seen running toward Nachos Mini Market on Cottage Avenue.
