Cerebral Brewing Finally Pouring on East Colfax

Belgian- and English-inspired beers are offered brewed in Portland Kettle Works equipment.

After some construction delays, Cerebral Brewing is now open at the corner of Colfax Avenue and Monroe Street. Owners Sean Buchan, Chris Washenberger, and Dan McGuire launched the operations set in a former auto body shop with six brews that include the America Pale Ale called Muscle Memory and the nose named Germ Theory.

The bright 4,000 square foot space is cozy and contemporary with natural wood elements and two shades of green accents. A highlight of the space is the stunning ten-barrel brewing system. In the spring, Cerebral Brewing will also open its patio.

For the time being, the brewery is open on Wednesday and Thursday from 4 to 10 p.m., Friday from 4 to 11 p.m., Saturday from 12 to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 12 to 10 p.m.
