Thanksgiving closings

Here’s how hours of operation for government offices and other facilities are affected by Thanksgiving, which is Thursday:

Municipal, county, state and federal offices: Closed. Offices in some towns, such as Buena, Buena Vista, Millville and Vineland, also are closed on Friday.

Schools: Closed.

Motor Vehicle Commission: Offices and public inspection stations closed.

Libraries: Vineland and Cumberland County libraries closed Thursday; Millville library closed Thursday and Friday.

Post offices: Closed Thursday; no regular mail delivery.

Trash and recycling pickup: Buena — no changes. Buena Vista — trash pickups scheduled for Thursday and Friday will be picked up one day later; no recycling pickup this week. Millville — trash and recycling pickups scheduled for Thursday and Friday will be picked up one day later. Vineland — trash and recycling pickups scheduled for Thursday will be made on the next regular pickup day.

Banks and credit unions: Varies; check with local branch.

NJ Transit: Bus schedules vary by route; check individual schedule for details.

Cumberland Mall: Mall open 6 p.m. to midnight Thursday and 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday. Department store and exterior shop hours may vary.

Supermarkets: Acme of Vineland open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday; ShopRite, Lincoln and Landis avenues, Vineland, open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday; ShopRite, Union Lake Crossing, Millville, open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday; ShopRite, West Landis Avenue, Vineland: open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday.
