Ideation Masterclass | Cours avancé d'idéation

DESCRIPTION

Ideation is a critical stage in the design thinking process. It is the point where one must let go of assumptions and think fluidly in order to produce a myriad of ideas.

For those who already have experience, the Service Lab offers a masterclass on February 23.

The Masterclass is ideal for people with creative experience who want to strengthen their skills, develop a dependable creative process, or prepare for creative collaboration. Whether your creative experience is in arts, science, innovation or design, you’ll take away insights and techniques to make you better at what you do.

The workshop will be led by Dr. Linda Carson, Director of Foresight at Overlap Associates, a Canadian design company that helps organizations to understand external stakeholder and customer needs at a deeply insightful and empathetic level. Dr. Carson holds degrees in mathematics, science, fine arts, and a PhD in behavioural and cognitive neuroscience. She is also the Director of the Independent Studies program at Waterloo University and a lecturer in fine arts.

The boot camp will be facilitated using reciprocal bilingualism and participants may feel free to speak in their language of choice.

Time: 8:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Location: ISED Service Lab, 235 Queen Street, C.D. Howe Building, C3, East Tower
