During the 2015 star-studded Farm Sanctuary gala held at the historic New York Plaza Hotel last weekend, Jon and Tracey Stewart announced their 12-acre New Jersey property would be the fourth and newest location of Farm Sanctuary—the nation’s leading farm animal rescue, education, and advocacy organization. Jon introduced his wife in a heartfelt speech, and when Tracey took the stage, she announced that the Stewarts and Farm Sanctuary were “getting married,” adding, “We’re going to build new advocates and leaders for this very important movement.” Last week, CBS aired a six-minute interview featuring the Stewarts at their New Jersey property alongside their playful companion pigs. Additionally, Tracey recently penned the book Do Unto Animals—a well-illustrated manual for understanding the lives of various animals, while Jon dedicated air time to animal rights and interviewed Farm Sanctuary founder Gene Baur in April on The Daily Show before he retired as host earlier this year.
