Chevrolet will showcase two customized 2016 Camaro SS concepts at the SEMA Show dubbed Red Accent and Black Accent.

Both custom concepts showcase the personalization potential of the new Gen Six Camaro using genuine accessories and performance parts that are available to order during the first model year of the new Camaro.

Based on the Camaro SS convertible, the Red Accent Package concept combines a Switchblade Silver Metallic exterior accented with red accessory trim with an Adrenaline Red leather-trimmed interior.

Exterior accessories include a lower grille with red inserts, red “hash mark” fender graphics, black bowtie emblems and 20-inch 5-Spoke Gloss Black wheels with Red Outline Stripe. Under the hood there’s a red-accented engine cover.

Inside, the Camaro SS Red Accent Package features an illumination kit with red aluminum door inserts, knee pads in red, sport pedal covers, and premium SS-logo carpeted floor mats and center console cover.

As for performance upgrades, Chevrolet added a lowered suspension, air intake and Brembo front brakes with six-piston calipers.

The Camaro SS Black Accent Package concept combines a Red Hot body color with black accents and aggressive design elements such as the black ground effects, darkened taillights, satin black rally stripes, black bowtie emblems and black 20-inch 5 Split Spoke Low Gloss Black Wheels. A concept black fuel door cover and red accented engine cover are also present.

In terms of performance, the customized Camaro SS gets a suspension lowering kit, Brembo front brake package with red calipers and a new performance air intake.

The Jet Black leather interior is personalized with black interior trim and knee pads, SS-logo premium carpeted floor mats, a suede console lid with the Chevrolet Performance logo and red stitching, and sport pedal covers.
