Unfortunately we did not eat but everything that came out of the kitchen looked fresh and delicious. We came in for an old fashion. And they were very good. Can't wait to come back again and eat some food. Everyone so nice and friendly. Morale among employees was very good.

I tried this restaurant for the first time today and was very impressed. The prices are reasonable, and they have a few combo options that give you everything you could want for a decent value.
I had the continental breakfast, which included coffee, pancakes or toast, 2 eggs, and sausage or bacon. My wife had the ribeye steak and eggs, and it was cooked perfectly and very well seasoned.
The server was attentive, and the food came out quick. The atmosphere is great, especially if you're a sports fan, with photos of all the great Bay Area teams hanging on the walls in all their glory.
I definitely plan on coming back.Helpful 1Thanks 2Love this 2Oh no 0 - Joey G.San Jose, CA03238Apr 28, 2024
I haven't found a good dish here yet. I am picky with my food.
Although my wife says the CHILAQUILES is pretty damn good. Order it with extra queso and onions and sauce on the side unless you like them a little more dry
Nice restaurant a lot of memorabilia on the walls. Great to look at especially if your a SF fan.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lisa J.Milton, FL1871517Apr 12, 2024
My mom and I DoorDashed the Swedish Pancakes and the Shrimp and Grits. We've had the Swedish pancakes several times before and they are one of our faves! Today they sent two plain crepes, with barely a sprinkle of powdered sugar and no lingonberry butter (which is what really makes them taste so good), it was also missing the side of scrambled eggs that was ordered with it. My mom was so disappointed, only ate two bites and didn't eat the rest. I was craving shrimp and grits and DoorDash let me know Mission City Grill had some (which is ultimately why we decided to order breakfast from Mission City). I was super excited to try it bc it appeared to have some really good reviews. I wish I could say it was good... unfortunately, the shrimp was overcooked while the grits were undercooked and super runny. The only redeeming quality about the dish was that the sauce was absolutely delicious! If only the rest of it could have been prepared as well.
I didn't get a picture of the Swedish pancakes as my mom threw them out before I could but I did snap a picture of my shrimp and grits (minus a piece of shrimp and a couple bits of grits)... I wish I could post a video to show how runny the grits really are.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 21, 2024Updated review
Came by for a Thursday lunch and we were sat immediately.
Two of us shared:
-supreme omelette $18
-bacon cheddar burger $19
-veggie scramble to go $18
Food overall was fine. Sourdough bread was stale. Burger was average.
Fries and hash browns were good.
Portions are on the larger side, which is nice.
Staff was friendly.
Parking spaces are tight and can be busy, but if you park on the Target side and walk over, should save you some headache.Helpful 24Thanks 6Love this 24Oh no 1Nov 12, 2022Previous reviewMet up with a friend for brunch!
A small wait, and we were sat pretty quickly on a Sunday morning. I ordered a supreme omelet with wheat toast and my friend ordered the chopped cobb.
Food was good, and portions were huge. So the value is definitely there. However, the plating and presentation of the food was really poor. You really do eat with your eyes first. Omelet looked like it was dropped on the plate haha.
Service was ok. Overall, value here is good because of the big portions. Open to coming back for sure!
Parking should be pretty easy in the plaza.

Wet to brunch on a Sunday around 11:30am. The place was packed but wait time was not too long. They have lots of seating, but we opted to sit at the bar.
Drinks were served with a beautiful flower and food was served hot and delicious. My favorites and go to order is the hash Benedict and Swedish pancakes.
Service is very friendly and attentive as well. Highly recommend!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jan 20, 2023Previous reviewRestaurant is large and great for groups and is stroller friendly. Service: everyone from the hostess, food runners, and servers are friendly and so on top of it. They constantly check in to make sure we had everything that we needed.
Food: go to items include the hash Benedict with extra crispy hash browns, the crab melt with seasoned fries, and the breakfast burrito. They have large portions, but prices went up around $5+ per plate over the last few years.
Must try: Swedish pancakes with the lingonberry butter. It is a cross between a crepe and pancake. I have not been able to find them anywhere else!
Parking: shared lot with many other restaurants and Target across the way. On a busy Sunday you might need to park a bit away, but there will be parking available. - Apr 14, 20241 check-in
Had Sunday brunch here around 10am. It was pretty busy and this place had old school diner vibes going on. We ordered the MCG skillet and the keto scramble. Both were delicious and the portions were big! The customer service was quick and attentive. My only small complaint is that we waited quite a long time for our food but it was pretty busy so I can understand the longer wait.

I came here for a late lunch when it wasn't busy. The food was great but the service was lacking. Our server was very nice but our drink glasses were empty for most of our meal and when we asked for a paper copy of our receipt he said he'd bring it and never returned.
This is a decent-sized restaurant and they have bar seating as well. They're in a shopping center with a lot of parking but it's typically packed where they're located.
Chinese Chicken Salad - Fresh and flavorful
Black & Blue Burger - Cooked perfectly as requested. Incredibly juicy and flavorfulHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Dec 29, 2023
Mission city grill's food is soooo fresh and delicious. One of my favorite little things about this spot is that they serve creamer in a nice little cold pitcher so you don't have to keep asking and opening those little plastic cups.
The fruit always seems to be fresh and in season so I always make sure to get a side.
Service is fast and the food is prepared accurately and served pipping hot.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
