The “who’s who” of the car wash business will gather once again from Sept. 13-17, 2016 at Automechanika in Frankfurt.

The “who’s who” of the car wash business will gather once again from Sept. 13-17, 2016 at Automechanika in Frankfurt.

At present, 85 percent of the exhibitors from 2014 have already confirmed their participation. The majority of the companies come from Europe, including Otto Christ AG, Istobal, Nilfisk, Adriateh, KAW Kiehl KG, Flowey Products, Favagrossa, DuBois Chemicals, Ergox, Alfred Kärcher Vertriebs-GmbH, and WashTec Cleaning Technology GmbH. The companies Di Martino Spa and Golden Chimigal from Italy, as well as Tenzi from Poland, Axel Team from Greece as well as Gloria GmbH, Meine Waschstrasse GmbH, and Abacus Chemie from Germany will take part in the trade fair for the first time, alongside TH Grass LLC from Russia.

Products and solutions for commercial vehicles will be presented by Alfred Kärcher Vertriebs-GmbH, Nilfisk, STR-Steinbrückner Reinigungstechnik GmbH, and others. The sign “Truck Competence” on the trade fair stand and the visitors’ guide bearing the same name will help visitors find commercial vehicle offerings from the various companies.

In 2016, the theme Car Wash & Care is once again set to attract a large number of visitors. At the last Automechanika Frankfurt, around 10 per cent of the 140,000 visitors from 174 countries were interested in products and solutions for car wash and care.

Since then, the themes of vehicle care, reconditioning, and car wash have become an integral element of Automechanika. Over four decades, well-known manufacturers of car washes, cleaning agents, and cleaning accessories have presented their products in a dedicated area at the trade fair in Frankfurt; since 2008, they have been housed in the “Car Wash City” in the outdoor area.

For the first time, the themes of car wash, care, and reconditioning are being brought closer together at the fair: with the established “Car Wash City” being relocated to the outdoor area F10 and recently also F11, it is now in direct proximity to Halls 8, 9, and 11.

The car care and reconditioning product area is being expanded and will be found in Hall 9.1 for the first time. So far, around 90 per cent of the exhibitors from 2014 in this product segment have already confirmed their participation, with the return of US-based Armored Auto UK Limited, a large key player in the industry with offices in Europe and Asia.

Distinguished industry experts will report on current topics and trends during the series of presentations in the “Car Wash City”, which proved very popular in 2014 and will take place in a lightweight hall again next year.
