We were originally raising money for a refurbed kitchen and windows but now £10,000 is needed for the cost of a full engine repair / refit.

Tyseley is the summer tour’s transport and the actor’s floating home - she is vital to us.

Mikron theatre have been touring their original brand of ‘theatre anywhere for everyone’ for 46 years, in the spring and autumn by road, and in the summer months on board their beloved historic narrowboat, Tyseley who is an amazing 80 years old!

How we are raising money:
On Sunday 14th May Mikron Theatre Company appeared at YHA Haworth with their newest show Best Foot Forward, 'A Hike through the History of Youth Hostelling'.

An intrepid group of 5 staff and supporters set out from the company’s base on Saturday 13th May, hiking North across the moors to see the show at YHA Haworth at 4pm the following day.
 
The 25 mile hike took in parts of the Pennine Way and the Calderdale Way, along a Roman road and up-and-down hills along rugged moorland.


Tyseley is the summer tour’s transport and the actor’s floating home. 


We need to raise money towards engine repairs (she went into dry dock 9th May) and if possible, refurbishing the kitchen and replacing some of the boat’s windows.


As the money 'floods' in (pun intended!) we'll keep you up to date with what we can do with it!
