POTTSTOWN >> Rupert Elementary School students rocked out to nutrition education with a musical concert.

Students learned how to make healthy choices while dancing and singing with the Jump with Jill program. The show is a “music-based health program” according to the website www.jumpwithjill.com. It includes teaching kids about nutrition and fitness through concerts, recorded music and videos.

Registered dietitian Jill Jayne created the Jump with Jill show, now known as “the world’s only rock ‘n’ roll nutrition show.” The show has toured across the United States, Canada and Europe. Four touring Jump with Jill casts visit schools across the nation to give healthy educational performances. One of these casts visited Rupert Elementary on Wednesday. Music was used to teach kids about vegetables, fruits, fitness and more.
