Weigh in with River Network
River Network is launching an annual survey on healthy rivers. If you are involved in river protection and restoration, or care about your local stream, this survey is for you!  The survey itself is very short – only 15 questions – it should only take a few minutes to complete. This is a trend survey, so we will be repeating it for the next few years, providing a snapshot from which to compare change over time. As someone who cares about rivers, we really need your perspective.  Here is the survey link to begin: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RNTrendSurvey

Montana FWP takes public comment on Milltown Park access deal.
Securing access to Montana's newest state park, the Milltown State Park, has stalled development of the park in the area around where the Milltown Dam was removed, but state Fish, Wildlife and Parks officials have hammered out a deal with International Paper Co., which offered to give the state a 16-acre parcel, six acres of which contained a landfill for which the state didn't want to take responsibility. The new deal gives the state 10 acres that avoid the landfill, and the state is taking public comment on the land deal through Nov. 25
.

USFS takes public comment on land swap adjacent to Yellowstone Park.
The U.S. Forest Service and conservation agencies have been trying for three decades to acquire the Slip and Slide Ranch north of Yellowstone National Park, and now the agency is taking public comment through Dec. 7 on a land swap that would put those acres into public hands for two parcels of land that lie within William D. Morean's Shooting Star Ranch in the Cinnabar Basin northwest of Gardiner.
