Singapore leads the way in closing gender pay gap

The gender pay gap is an issue throughout the world, but Singapore routinely tops the table among Asian nations for closing the gap.

The number of women in the Singapore workforce has jumped by around 15% over the last decade, and salaries have risen by a comparable amount.

But Singapore also ranks as one of Asia's worst in terms of work-life balance, and the birth rate is falling.
