Princess Eugenie & Beatrice ‘had a stability’ which William & Harry found ‘lacking’

Royal Ascot Royals

The more photos I see of Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice at Royal Ascot, the angrier I get with their fashion choices. I know the Queen doesn’t necessarily like to micromanage her grandchildren, but I truly hope the Queen pulled Eugenie aside and told her to never wear a Boob Dart Dress ever again. Tragique. The thing about it is, I don’t even believe that the York princesses have these tragic, terrible lives. Sure, Beatrice seems rather aimless and unaccomplished, but she also seems to be doing okay in general. Eugenie married a nice guy who adores her, and she has a decent career in the art world. They don’t need to tell me that they’re fine – I already think that. But once they start talking about how they’re doing amazing, then I start to get suspicious. People Magazine is bizarrely running a series of exclusives about the York princesses and here’s the latest: Bea and Genie have always had a more stable family life than Harry and William.

Like their cousins Prince William and Prince Harry, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie experienced the pain and childhood upheaval of their parents’ very public divorce. But their family healed, and the young women and their parents — Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson — have developed a close family unit that has helped Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughters thrive.

Although Fergie and Andrew divorced in 1996, she still has rooms at the family home, Royal Lodge, and she has regularly said she and Andrew are the “happiest divorced couple” in the world.

“Beatrice and Eugenie have had a stability that William and Harry have found painfully lacking in their lives,” says Ingrid Seward in this week’s issue of PEOPLE. “Although their early childhood was not good, those girls have had a very secure upbringing.”

Seward, who wrote a biography of Ferguson, adds, “The girls love that their parents get on so well.”

Of course, for William, who turns 37 on Friday, and Harry, 34, their sadness over their own parents’ divorce was compounded by the fact that their mother, Princess Diana, died in a 1997 car crash just as she was starting to create a new contentment in her post-divorce life. Unlike William and Harry, Beatrice, 30, and Eugenie, 29 — who joined the Queen at Royal Ascot on Tuesday — have made careers in the real world of business, while continuing to contribute to causes close to their heart and pitching in to support the Queen and their father’s royal duties.

“They are independent, working women but are also aware of their position and where they can help,” says a family friend.

[From People]

I am… mystified by what point Seward and People Magazine think they’re making. Yes, it’s great that the York princesses had two divorced parents who always got along and were great friends. Yes, they didn’t have to deal with the screaming and drama of the Wales’ marriage. But… they’re not better people because their parents got along, just like William and Harry aren’t better OR worse because of their parents’ divorce. Also: the subtext seems to be “Bea and Genie are happier because their mom’s not dead.” Which… WTF?? Way to dunk on their cousins, “Haha, we’re more well-rounded than you because our mom didn’t die!” Who thinks like that?

    Those.

    Outfits.

    My.

    GAWD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Kay says:

Minus the boob darts, Eugenie’s dress isn’t that bad.

      • Lala11_7 says:

        I can’t get past those darts……..

        FA WHY DOE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

      • AryasMum says:

The crew neck doesn’t work with a larger bosom. Speaking from experience, it makes your breasts look perilously close to your waist. I avoid at all costs. Eugenie was gorgeous and very trim in her wedding dress, but she can’t seem to dress in a figure flattering way otherwise.

      • Diana says:

I’m with LaLa those darts are unfortunate!

      • (TheOG)@Jan90067 says:

Not just those darts and that neckline (though a V or a scoop new would be SO much better for her), but ALL the Windsor women would benefit from a good bra fitting! TQ, Sophie, Cam (esp!), Bea, Eug… they all need their girls lifted up and shaped in a good cup size. JMO of course!

      • minx says:

The boob darts are all I can see. Her boobs looked flattened, you can see the entire outline. Extremely poor bra choice. Did she not look in a mirror? She must have had some other outfit in her closet.

      • himmiefan says:

Didn’t Eugenie look in the mirror before she went out?

      • Cate says:

The darts are just terribly done, and the angle of them (coming up from the waistline????) is just not going to flatter her. I feel like this could have looked so much better with the darts done properly and altering the neckline just a tad. Even a boatneck style would have done much better, if a V-neck would have been too “revealing” for appearances with the queen. I do think the color is really lovely on her and I love the yellow accent of the hat. Maybe a bright yellow belt to accentuate the waistline would also have been a good touch…

Beatrice’s dress just looks too much like a bathrobe on her, it needs some more structure and then it would probably look quite nice also, and something better at the waist than that tied off thing.

Both of them really do have quite nice curvy figures and when they dress those figures properly I think they are both quite striking. I think if they mastered the basics of dressing for their shapes they could probably pull off a number of fashion risks or more fashion-forward looks.

      • Megan says:

So many of their looks fail because they are not properly fitted. They either need to find an excellent tailor or go the bespoke route.

    • Yup, Me says:

I really like Bea’s dress; it would have looked amazing on me. The hat is a horror, though.

It’s interesting that they seem drawn to outfits that invoke strong feelings but then don’t have the … something necessary to carry them off.

  2. Seraphina says:

That dress, good Lord. 🤦🏻‍♀️ And it’s not due to the Princesses being more average weight (as allowed to Kate and Megs). Look at Queen Maxima. She has curves and looks great in what she wears. Sure she has some misses, but more hits than misses. These poor girls have way way too many misses.

    • Moses says:

I don’t love their fashion, but I do love that they wear what they want. They’ve heard the criticisms, I’m sure, but they just carry on as they like. I like people who don’t change themselves due to irrelevant opinions.

      • Wow2 says:

        This!

      • Becks1 says:

I admit that I do always look forward to seeing what they wear. You cant say they are boring.

side note – I actually loved what Beatrice wore to W&Ks wedding. the awful hat overshadowed it, but her coatdress was lovely.

      • Blue Orange says:

This completely! They are just opinions but everyone goes around stating their opinions like facts and it’s an absolute killer of self-esteem. People can be so nasty. The world would be boring if we all dressed the same.

    • escondista says:

Queen Maxima is much thinner and taller than them. I’d say she is probably a size 8 and those girls are probably closer to 12 – 14. That said, they can absolute look amazing at any size and they don’t. They could hire a stylist who would help them look great but if they are really happy with their clothes choices, then good for them!

    • Alexis says:

Can’t Eugenie get the person who styled her on her wedding day to advise her on more appearances? Her wedding and reception dresses both suited her very well and looked great.

I don’t think it’s really a weight thing with the York princesses, I don’t hear them made fun of for being bigger than sample size (they’re still fairly small tbh), it’s more shaming based on their distinctive faces and their fashion choices.

  3. Mia4s says:

Oh hey Prince Andrew’s team, you’ve been talking to People magazine I see? 😏

Just a hunch. But I do know he will be forever pressed that his daughters aren’t full “working royals”. (Even though that was 100% the right call on Prince Charles’ part).

    • himmiefan says:

I’m more convinced now that he made the “degree Duchess” remark about Meghan. Too bad, so sad for him that H&M look solid.

      • Tai says:

Apparently although it takes 4 years to get a BA in N. America, it takes 3 in the UK so they (Andrew) are saying H&M marriage will last 3 years? Not so fast Andy, you were divorced within 10 years and split up well b4 then. And unlike his 2 older sibs, has not gone on to a longer, loving second marriage. How mean spirited these people are!

      • PrincessK says:

This stupid ‘degree’ remark could have come from anybody, and its root has been attributed to the Three Degrees also. It could be a dig at the fact that she is educated; most of the royals are not academic….and that includes William and Kate, they went to university but they are not interested in academics. Also British people unlike Americans play down academic achievements, whereas Americans do the opposite….e.g having graduation 🎓 ceremonies for almost everything including teenagers leaving school ‘eyes-roll’. So someone could be poking fun at Meghan being an educated American.

    • Megan says:

I think Andrew is jealous that Meghan and Harry are getting so much press.

      • Syd says:

Remember his super passive aggressive dig at Harry and Meghan during an interview before his daughter’s wedding? I was like, WHOA. Something about how Eugenie and her guy have more friends than them, and that’s why there were more guests at the chapel.

  4. Citresse says:

HM is not confrontational unless it’s a very dire situation….besides she wouldn’t risk upsetting her precious *gag* Andrew.

    • Harpersghost says:

Andrew’s team needs to stop working the tabloid phones and hire a flipping stylist!

The York sisters would be better served with a stylist who can help them dress they way they want without making stupid mistakes like B**b Darts. They have an interesting approach to fashion, and they obviously don’t want to adhere to A Uniform, but they miss the mark on a regular basis. A stylist could tell them, “Hey I see where you are wanting to go, so let’s try this instead of that.”

I’d imagine that a lot of stylists would love to help a couple of Royal women dress kinda funky. It would be such an interesting change from Coat Dress, Coat Dress, Beige, Beige, Coat Dress.

      • minx says:

Yes to all of this. These girls are young, they need to dress young. And get clothes that fit—they have the resources to do it. Their bodies are not the problem, it’s their taste.

  5. Erinn says:

I’d say they’re almost guaranteed to be more well adjusted people if they didn’t have their parents using their kids as confidants and pawns. I know everyone just adores Diana and can’t stand William – but I don’t doubt for a second that some of his issues are a direct result of how the divorce was handled. That said – he’s an adult who has made his own choices, and if he’s still having side effects from that situation, he should be in therapy.

But let’s not pretend that parents that have the luxury (because in some cases it truly is a luxury) of being able to get along during a divorce are going to have kids who adjust easier than people who are waging a war and expecting their CHILDREN to listen to them vent about the problems in their marriage.

That said – a lot of this quoted article was just stupid.

    • perplexed says:

He might be in therapy. I think Harry admitted he did therapy

William might be less well-adjusted (whatever the heck that means in this case of being born to royalty where your lives are more or less fixed for you), but it’s not like he’s a criminal wreaking havoc on the world. Also, he’s a Future King, which Beatrice and Eugenie aren’t so I think comparing their situations is like apples and oranges. Someone born to be King, even without a mother dying, is bound to have some issues. I mean, look at Charles. Clearly, he had his set of issues, but now that he’s old and the next generation has come up, no one cares anymore.

I don’t think anyone is 100 percent well-adjusted, to be honest. We all have our frustrations and regrets, and some people are better at covering it up than others. The happiest person in the world with herself seems to be Gwyneth Paltrow, and even she seems a little loopy (like she has a disorder of hyper-conceitedness of some kind but doesn’t know it).

  6. Hope says:

Andrew drove through and wrecked a set of gates in a fit of anger and was friendly with people like Epstein. Fergie is a trainwreck who seems fine with Andrew’s shadiness.

Considering Eugenie’s Snow White costume with seven little people as props that she ordered around all night, I think there are valid questions there about how out of touch and dysfunctional the girls really are while trying to present as normal to the public. People tend to give them the benefit of the doubt and blame the parents but IDK.

    • OriginalLala says:

I need to look up this Snow White costume, hadnt heard of it but yiiiiiikes

    • Chrissyms says:

This is obviously coming from Andrew and Fergie. They can talk about their own divorce without bringing up William and Harry. I don’t care what anyone says about the Prince’s behavior today as adult men but those boys suffered greatly. Anyone would be messed up after an upbringing like that. I don’t like this at all. Fergie and Andrew are shady AF. Always have been. And honestly those girls are useless. That is all I could think at Eugenie’s wedding. Beatrice just stood around and didn’t left a finger or look helpful in any way.

  7. Becks1 says:

It does seem like overall, B&E had a more stable childhood than William and Harry. They also didn’t have as much of a spotlight on them.

The line about how the girls have made careers in the “real world of business while contributing to causes” close to their hearts and supporting the queen just seems kind of weird. Like its a dig at William and Harry but why? William was never going to be a businessman. And Harry was in the military and served in Afghanistan as well know. (that seems pretty “real” to me).

I don’t know. Its probably just a throwaway line that doesn’t mean anything (I know, I cant believe I’m saying that about People mag!) but it stood out to me as a strange thing to include.

    • perplexed says:

I didn’t get that part of that article. Is William allowed to go into business even if he wanted to? As for Harry, he was the spare at some point, so I think he still had a performative role in the family (as he does now).

  8. Eleonor says:

Honestly: those dresses should be buried in some royal dungeon.
For the parents: Andrew and Sarah were messy but in a different way.

  9. tempest prognosticator says:

I’m with Kaiser; what was the point of this article?

I’m in the minority here, but I don’t find the sisters particularly likeable or interesting. Their style is atrocious, but I do find that kind of endearing.

  10. Monicack says:

Are we not going to discuss Beatrice falling in love with a convicted murderer in Italy? No? Okay then. The family adored him by the way. Yep. The more stable family.

  11. Citresse says:

I hope Charles, once King, really follows through with major cuts to the periphery, most of all against Andrew that arrogant, sleazy, fat slob.

  12. Lory says:

I don’t question the point of such articles because if we’re being completely honest none of these stories about the personal lives of the royals serve any real purpose. In such I don’t see anything particularly strange about the comments in the article. Beatrice and Eugenie have had the luck of having parents that get along well after divorce. They are also lucky the spotlight isn’t on them as much as on other royals. I don’t read any kind of snipe in the article about Harry and William. Just that they had the misfortune of having parents that were not on good terms and when it seemed there was more stability on the horizon their mother died. That’s unfortunate but I don’t see where that makes them less people in the comments.

    • perplexed says:

I think the snipe comes from comparing them. Maybe that wasn’t the intent (to snipe), but trying to compare their positions in life doesn’t make any sense to begin with. William is the Future King — his trajectory in life was always going to be way different. Also, leaving aside Diana’s death, the fact that she was the most famous woman in the world that has altered Harry’s destiny to some degree, imo. Some of his “celebrity” comes from being the son of the most beloved woman in the world. Beatrice and Eugenie were never going to have that placed on their shoulders. People are attached to William and Harry partly through the adoration their mother achieved. Does anyone look at Beatrice and Eugenie and think “Wow, there are the children of Prince Andrew and Fergie, who the public adores beyond normal comprehension?” I didn’t think so.

Even someone like JFK. Jr., who was the son of another very famous, beloved, and somewhat controversial woman, was going to have a different destiny and issues to deal with from Eugenie and Beatrice, and he wasn’t even royal. If they happen to more well-adjusted, I would think that’s because of they have the choice of living in a more invisible way if they so wanted to. That option would have never been available to William and Harry.

  13. Jen says:

I think the point of the article was “Hey, we’ve noticed people like reading about the royals and it boosts circulation…. Meghan is on maternity leave, the feud between the brothers is getting old, and Kate’s not pregnant. Hmmm. York girls it is!”

  14. TQ says:

Is some new development forthcoming in the Epstein debacle? This type of article seems like precisely the type of PR effort to deflect from a negative story in the works.

  15. Monicack says:

Andrew was behind the entire paid access scandal. Fergie took the heat and will always be rewarded for that.

  16. Snap Happy says:

I could see where this article was heading but really hoped it wouldn’t. Bringing up Diana’s death was pretty gross. That’s something they have to live with their whole lives.
And I’m sure the girls had to suffer through a lot of embarrassment with Andre and Fergie’s many scandals. Anytime someone says the palace can’t shut down Meghan stories I think of the Andrew/Epstein scandal. She made sure to give him some royal honor to distract from the bad press and I’m sure they kept more from hitting the papers.

I have sympathy for the girls, tho. It must be weird to hit the genetic jackpot and be born a granddaughter to the queen only to watch your cousin’s wives get all the publicity/jewels/clothes.

    • Anon says:

Andrew and Sarah both have gone out of their way to embarrass the royal family.

Sure, these two may have gotten along, but having affairs, hanging out with pedophiles and racking up huge debts (and dozens of more dumb stunts) doesn’t exactly make them Parents of the Year.

  17. Piptopher says:

I’m glad these two women made it out of their father’s household unscathed. Unfortunately, we can’t say that for everyone he and his pal Epstein met.

This article is an incredible and devastating summary:
    https://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/article220097825.html

  18. Myra says:

Who? None of the Royals are normal….they live in a fantasy world…..and I love it! They should dress better and embraced the fact that they don’t live like normal people!!! I bet the entire Windsor family has a average to below average IQ but Meghan and Sophie.

  19. Tiffany says:

    Andrew….Andrew thinks like that.

  20. Surly Gale says:

I believe the boob dart dress was purposeful. No one, especially a heavy-breasted woman, would do that to themselves without a good reason. I believe she didn’t want the focus to be on her womb. The way the other women were greeting her, I think she is pregnant and it’s still to be announced. The darts are a distraction, nothing more

  21. NotSoSocialButterfly says:

Who thinks like that? Ingrid Stewart, apparently.

  22. Valiantly Varnished says:

But…they’re not wrong? Losing a parent as a young child is a MAJOR upheaval and even Harry himself has stated how that rocked his foundation and he didnt feel secure. That’s not them bragging about it that is simply stating facts. Both William and Harry have spoken about this.

    • Anon says:

Yeah, but why run to People to rub it in in such a public way? I mean, that’s THEIR MOTHER. Just dumb.

  23. Jan says:

This is an obvious move on Andrews part to try and pressure Charles to keep forking out money for him and his daughters after he becomes King. I’m sure Andrew is just steaming that his lazy ass is going to be essentially thrown off the gravy train.

    • aaa says:

After the Queen dies, Andrew, Anne and Edward are going to be rich in their own right and won’t need handouts from Charles, in fact, the housing related deals/gifts are already in place. If Charles chooses to scale back the royal work his siblings do, then they will simply become wealthy retirees and will have even more time to spend golfing, yachting and shooting.

    • duchesschicana says:

I dont think charles has anything against the York Princesses he has eugenie patron of Elephant family, a charity very close to camillia and charles . I dont think Charles wpuld make someone a patronages whom he held something against . There are simly enough working royals as of now.

  24. Anon says:

Those dresses. Oh. My. Gawd. For starters – buy a decent bra and some shapewear, ladies. Second, would it kill you to get these poor fitting house dresses professionally tailored? They look like they came from the TJ Maxx clearance sale, right out of the bag. A hundred dollars says they are borrowed and still have the tags attached.

I saw this new communications strategy (by their mother, “the friend” who are we kidding) and thought the exact same thing. I’ve seen similar talking points in pieces leading up to What’s Her Name’s wedding to That Tequila Guy and I’m convinced that Fergie is on some kind of tear because of something that went down at Ascot.

Why? Because of specific keywords that always come up when these puff pieces appear: “The Queen’s Granddaughters.” “Working women.” “Role models.” Whatever. If I were Bill and Harry, I would not be amused.

This little stunt was particularly uncalled for and portrays them as petty and frankly not long-game savvy. Bill will one day write the checks that fund that family. Not a very smart move.

    • HayaR says:

Andrew is worth nearly 90 million or something, the sisters aren’t funded by Charles and they will never need to be funded by William. They are Princesses, they work, and they do a lot for charity. Calling Eugenie and Beatrice useless and do nothings because you don’t like their lifestyle (envy) is horrible.

      • Mego says:

Andrew doesn’t have access to that much money.

      • Tourmaline says:

If Andrew has that much liquid cash laying about, and if he and Fergie are so close, why does she have to beg for money from Jeffrey Epstein to pay her debts? Why does she have to live in the Royal Lodge instead of having her own abode in the UK?

I don’t buy that he is flush with cash and capable of buying whatever he wants. The ballad of Andrew and Fergie is a saga of constant grifting and cuddling up to oligarchs.

  25. perplexed says:

Well, I suppose it is possible to be the “happiest divorced couple in the world” if you both get to live long enough to make amends with each other. They got an extra 20 years of life to get things right.

  26. Carol says:

None of the article makes sense. The girls were more stable? After the divorce, Charles moved on to the woman he married – very stable life right there. Diana may have traveled and dated a lot, but she had her apartment nearby in the UK so stable home. I also think she planned her travels for when they were in school or with their dad. Fergie was the one in and out of the US. She may have rooms in Andrew’s house, but she has lived all over the place and been in/out of the money many times over. She also talked about how when she had the girls all they did was watch movies together because you can learn a lot from movies. So this really just comes down to “our mom’s alive and yours isn’t,” which is quite horrible.

  27. perplexed says:

Fergie was embarrassing at times. But the kids were probably too young to see the toe-sucking scandal. I feel the stability would have come much later on.

    • Karen says:

Those girls were sitting within yards of the toe suckers.

      • Lady D says:

Well there’s info that’s a little sickening. I had no idea the girls were there when that went down.

      • perplexed says:

I had no idea the girls were there either. Well, i have no idea why Andrew and Fergie are feeling so smug.

I do think they’ve turned out fine, but I feel that owes more to their own personalities and possibly common sense than to the parents.

      • Tourmaline says:

Yeah, that was supposedly the kicker of the whole scandal for Andrew and his parents, that Fergie (and John Bryan) was up to this with the kids right there.

It’s nice that Andrew and Fergie get along (or so Fergie never shuts up about) and have a close family unit, but they both have done ultra embarrassing things. The Fergie sting operation where she was taking an attache full of cash for access to Prince Andrew, where she said she didn’t have a ‘pot to piss in’, etc. was pretty darn embarrassing and that happened less than 10 years ago. Sure she was set up but the words and actions that were caught on tape tell a damning story. Plus not only was Andrew besties with Jeffrey Epstein, Fergie was accepting cash from Jeffrey Epstein to pay her neverending debts.

      • PrincessK says:

Fergie was pregnant with one of the girls when she embarked on an affair.

  28. RoyalBlue says:

The boob dart dress was intentional all right. Don’t you remember her wedding reception dress? Her breasts were sticking out like two torpedoes. I thought it was terrible.

  29. Div says:

All these recent York puff pieces reek of Andrew. It’s why I’m side eyeing the entire firm—they’ve covered for Andrew’s so many times, and yet have done very little to try and stop the media from tearing down Meghan.

  30. FluffyPrincess says:

Again, Andrew and Fergie are trying to make the York girls “stars” like W&K and H&M. The popularity of H & M must make Andrew absolutely INSANE. Here is this upstart American divorce, who is not A BLOOD PRINCESS, comes in like a supernova and obliterates the “competition” in a year. I just imagine him plotting, plotting, plotting on ways to get his girls into that spot light. How could Charles refuse $$$ if they too were like H & M? Bringing global attention to causes and charities and Britain. . .that publicity deserves some cash money, right?

Nice try pedo Andy. If you weren’t such a cretin KING Charles might throw you a bone, but the RF cannot risk his nefarious liaisons coming front and center under the harsh light of scrutiny in this social media age.

  31. Jaded says:

I’m actually surprised that B and E aren’t completely messed up. Both her parents are grifters, they’ve hooked up with some awfully shady, disreputable people in their lives, Fergie blew through gazillions of dollars and ended up dead broke and trying to sell media/business access to Andrew while he was off cavorting with Jeffery Epstein and a bunch of under-age hookers basically forced into sexual slavery.

Nice family to be born into isn’t it.

  32. Severine says:

It’s not the darts, but her nipples protruding at the darts that create the problem.

  33. Mego says:

Hagrid Seward was really reaching with this garbage. That said I’ve noticed a lot of York positive articles popping up lately, some hinting Andrew and Sarah will remarry. Are the Yorks reaching out to the media to rehabilitate their tarnished image and pave the way to a remarriage. Possible yes.

    • FluffyPrincess says:

@Mego. You know they are waiting for Prince Phillip to pass away, and when he does, I bet Andrew and Fergie remarry within a year.

  34. kerwood says:

I think they appear to be more ‘stable’ because they’re more boring. If I recall, their upbringing was pretty dramatic. Fergie’s financial woes and her attention-getting stunts and Andrew’s friendship with some shady people and at least one pedophile, can’t make for a happy childhood. It’s possible that their parents tried to shield them from their misdeeds but they wouldn’t have been able to protect them once they started school. Also, Andrew might be the Queen’s favourite but he isn’t the world’s favourite. In the eyes of the public his daughters probably rank pretty low in popularity.

I find it ironic that the press is trying to big-up the York parents when they practically hounded Andrew and Fergie into a divorce. They appeared to really love each other and probably would have made it through the toe-sucking if the press wasn’t so rabid. I guess it’s nice that they get on now but it’s probably a case of two sleazy people who accept the other’s sleaze. And Fergie’s basically homeless.

  35. Sassy says:

Too little too late to make Eugenie and Beatrice happen Andrew. I know people like to compare Harry to Andrew but Harry knows he won’t be popular forever. The spotlight will be on his niece and nephews when they are teens and up and he’s happy about that unlike Andrew.

  36. Harla says:

I love the hat/fascinator that Eugenie is wearing today, the colors are spectacular.

  37. Patty says:

Lumpy and Dumpy ….no other words . No excuse for the nipple darts , the gel must have a mirror

Once in a blue moon the press will write an ok article on the Yorks with suble shade/dark undertones, They fail haveing good quality positive articles on the York Princesses, this is article is no differentt. I hate how they put royals against each other, so annoying, especially with cousins who get along. Stirring the pot indeed.heck i even see some artiles put the York sisters against each other once in a while

Prerhaps, this person should have wrote an article focusing more about how the York Princesses have the best of both worlds. Being royal and having a semi normal life, while being involved with chairty work even though they are not obligated to do so; instead of Adding unecessry drama and puttiing cousins against each other. Nah, people wouldnt bother commenting/clicking if they did this. The press knows where the bait is

Those dresses are WOW. I cannot imagine leaving the house dressed like other one of them. Once the shock and horror wore off I realized I’m a little jealous. They are likely always getting papped and looked at but they just DGAF. Good for them.

So Eugenie’s dress had fit issues but otherwise was OK to me. But I was seriously flummoxed by her styling once I saw the head to toe shot. So the dress was lined in that lemony mustard color so that explains the hat color. But then she carried a fawn colored bag. And zoom on her shoes — we gave Kate all kinds of trash for her silver shoes but Bea appears to be wearing silver shoes with this crazy outfit – silver with studs all around the foot no less. I don’t find it edgy if that’s the “excuse” – but more like someone handed her the dress and hat and then she was running out the door and the shoes were still there from the club the night before and the bag was the first thing her hands touched in the closet …

I’m an orphan, and you wouldn’t believe the number of times that some insecure person has shoved their family life in my face as though making some kind of point. It’s in a realm so far beyond rude that it’s actually irrelevant.

Spot on. I hope for mental health reasons that the comparison is due to the writer than members of the royal family. Status is not a competition, rank is determined by lineage at birth. Unhealthy comparisons play into the ego.
