Even the most ardent film fanatic might balk at the prospect of watching a movie every single day of the year.
But that's what Instagram artist @greg_or_egan is doing - and, with each film he watches, he's commemorating it with a sketch.
He's a month into his challenge at the time of writing, and has so far produced 30 images based on films including RoboCop, Shaun of the Dead, Les Miserables and Scarface.
The project has won a huge amount of fans since being posted on Reddit by user @LukeStarkey, who said "my friend's watching 365 movies in 365 days and posting a sketch of each film on his Instagram."
After the post started gaining attention, @greg_or_egan's number of Instagram followers shot up, climbing from 60 to more than 12.5 thousand in a matter of hours.
Responding to queries on Instagram, LukeStarkey said: "For anyone interested, he is using Surface Pro 3 for hardware, Autodesk Sketchbook Pro for lines, and Manga Studio 5 for colour. He is employed, just a massively dedicated fan of both film and art ... Finally he's getting the recognition he deserves."
Asked how @greg_or_egan was selecting films, Luke said: "When I asked, he replied "Theres no real rhyme or reason to how I'm choosing them ... if I haven't seen it or haven't seen it in awhile I'll give it a bash."
