Get ready for a new season of murder, intrigue, snooping neighbors, suspicious relatives, and all-around nefarious goings-on! Yep, it's time to look ahead at the season's most anticipated mysteries and thrillers.
From the domestic suspense thriller The Mother-in-Law to the fantasy-meets-noir debut Magic for Liars, these books will keep you guessing whodunit—and turning the pages—all night long. We also added in the most anticipated true crime of the season!
To find our must-read list, we focused on the books being published in the U.S. between April and early June that Goodreads members can't wait to read. We measured that anticipation by taking a look at how many times a book has been added to Want to Read shelves. We then organized the books by publication date.

Definitely not a complete list of upcoming Spring Mystery releases - An Artless Demise (Anna Lee Huber) isn't on there - nor is Triple Jeopardy (Anne Perry), The Loch Ness Papers (Paige Shelton), With a Kiss I Die (J.A. Hennrikus), Amber Affairs (Patricia Rice), Death in Kew Gardens (Jennifer Ashley), The Book Supremacy (Kate Carlisle) == that is all I can think of through the end of June.

Missing in that list are certainly "Metropolis" the last novel from the late Philip Kerr where his policeman Bernie Gunther has a last adventure in a late 20' Berlin. And of course the new Charlie Parker by John Connolly. Both books arriving this April.
Who Slays the Wicked by CS Harris and audio releases of When Good Ghosts Get the Blues by Danielle Garrett, The Final Toll and Lost Innocents Denise Domning.
I have a number of differnt authors to add to this list. I have read other books by these authors and have found them to be very engaging with surprises along way.
I am also looking forward to "Burning issue of the Day" by T.E. Kinsey (April 18th), "The Glenister Papers" by Tracy Grant (May 15th), "Edinburgh Midnight" by Carole Lawrence (June 9th), and "The Mortal Blow" by Elizabeth Bailey, (April 13th).

while all of the books sound really interesting the one I want to read the most is "No Exit", I have the other two in this category and thoroughly enjoyed both of them, especially, The Wife Between Us. So i am looking forward to reading this book.
I read some of these, so far "Little Darlings" was the best of the lot for me :) Very unique and intertwined with folk lore!

Did you read all of the other Jane Hawk books? I read the first two and thought they were just mediocre, but that's just me :) Will be reading this one to see how it all ends up :)

I’ve been waiting for the final Bernie Gunther book with a mixture of sadness and excitement. The quality of Mr. Kerr's books has never slipped.

Many interesting Titles in the list, I have added a few of them. My favorite pick first is Redemption by David Baldacci. I have always enjoyed his books. I like detective crime investigation stories. Also, the Title - The Night Before seems interesting, a psychological thriller about two sisters! A good way to heat up the spring season! Will check on the other books later!
How could you not include 'If She Wakes' by Michael Koryta? He never fails to deliver a great story!
Let me add "The East End", the newest suspense thriller in the series of books by Webb Hubbell. I've loved each of his books. They grab you in the first five minutes and don't let go until the very end. I can't wait to see what adventures befall Jack Patterson this time.
C.S. Harris - "Who Slays the Wicked is on my Holds list at the library.
Sebastian St. Cyr is always a good read.

Petra’s Ghost by C.S. O’Cinneide, a thriller set on the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage in Spain where a woman has disappeared. Wholly original concept getting a lot of positive advance reviews. Due out in the summer.

I already had marked several of them as to read and just added a bunch more. Happy sleuthing to all.

Aside from the fact that it was never intended to be a complete list, to-read lists were used to compile it, so it is probably also heavily weighted towards books that had give-aways because more of those books get added to to-read lists.

On the Dean Koontz Jane Hawk series, the first book was good, second was dumb, didn't even try the third. Won't be trying this one either. His books are hit and miss. Some are excellent while others are awful.

Have you read "We, The Jury" by Robert Rotstein? It's an interesting look at a trial through multiple personalities from the Jury to the judge, attorneys and many more.

Philip Kerr and his Gunther series were excellent - a sad loss. I have to admit that the writers on the list proposed are either people I've never heard of, or authors who have failed to impress... sorry.
