There have been five federal elections in the last 15 years. Canadians are heading to polls Monday for the sixth.

Over that time, Canada has moved from a strong Liberal majority government to a succession of minority Conservative governments, to a strong Conservative majority with the NDP making up Canada’s Official Opposition. The Liberals were demoted to the third party.

With just days to go before the next election, seat projections are suggesting the Liberals could reclaim the government.
