Capitol Hill Studio So Tiny You Can't Help But Bump The Fridge

Welcome to Tiny Homes, an idea that is more popular with minimalists than with neighborhood associations and zoning boards. We'll point out the fun parts. You'll have to check out the logistics and legalities - but this one is an apartment, a tiny apartment.

A tiny home doesn't have to be a tiny house. It can be a tiny apartment. And yet, a home it is. A 390 square foot apartment is on the market for $169,950 (though in this market, check quick because it may already be sold.) Most spaces that small are studios where you can see the bed from the kitchen; but this one is more efficient than that. It hides the bed. Using a Murphy bed frees up the floor space. Like most apartments, the building provides a workout and yoga space, but with the bed out of the way, maybe you can do your yoga (or calisthenics, or whatever) within reach of your espresso or yogurt machine. It looks like you don't, however, have to share your shower with your pet because it looks like they have a pet station, too. The building was remodeled in 2008, so most things have been updated and are more eco-friendly - but check out that refrigerator. Are those big dents in the door, or just a trick of the light?
