How Does It Work?
Most ridge vent products require an equal amount of ventilation at the soffit in order to work properly. Attic installation blocks the soffit vents in most passive ridge vent systems, or no soffits exist at all, causing improper ventilation. SmartVent allows air to move freely, entering through a 1 inch slit under the shingle and out of the ridge vent providing the most effective attic ventilation with the least amount of effort.
