A 10-year-old Colorado girl who was born with a rare genetic disease which leaves her bones weak and brittle is speaking out after finding a note calling her and her mother “lazy” and idiotic for parking in a handicapped spot.

Naomi Barringer said she found the printed letter cowardly left on her windshield after shopping inside of a Westminster Target with her daughter Friday.

Inside, it begins with a friendly “GREETINGS!” It then twists into an arrogant scolding for parking in a spot which was declared as better deserving of others — despite them having a handicapped sign.

“It says, ‘Greetings. I observed you parking in this handicap parking place today. It appears that you are not really handicapped. Perhaps just in a hurry or worse, just plain lazy,'” Barringer read the note to KUSA.

The grossly judgmental writing goes on to educate them that such spots are reserved for people “who are truly handicapped.”

In her 10 years she’s endured dozens of bone fractures, 13 of which were suffered at birth.

It further blamed “idiots like you” for their trouble.

“I was offended. I was hurt, actually. I really didn’t know that anyone thought of me like that,” Barringer’s daughter, Kaitlyn, told KUSA.

Since Kaitlyn was born she’s battled Hypophosphatemia which left her suffering 13 bone fractures at birth alone.

Since then she’s suffered dozens more and in May underwent surgery for plates and screws to be placed in her left femur. It took her several long weeks to recover, according to a GoFundMe page set up for her after.

“I do look normal but I don’t think they have to do that,” she said.

The snarky note concludes with a warning which reads: “Before you throw this away, know that I have called in your license plate number to the local police. Have a great day!”

Kaitlyn expressed hope that this was the only letter left by the pinhead.

If it’s not, she’d like them to know that they “aren’t stupid, they aren’t lazy and they have this for a reason. They have the sign because they need it.”
