A total of 95 optometry undergraduates and staff from Ulster University attended an Eyeball to celebrate the end of the academic year prior to exams.
Organised by the department’s Optics Society, the event was held at Roe Park Resort in Limavady and was sponsored by Louis Stone.
A raffle took place during the evening, with flippers donated by Louis Stone won by Noelle Maguire. Ms Maguire said of her prize: “They are so useful in clinical practice, especially for techniques such as binocular balancing and binocular add.”
The Optics Society's plans to host a paint balling event for students and staff after exams, as well as a leaving dinner for third years.
