Their mission is to become the leading online source for everything readers want to know about the groundbreaking individuals they feature. They publish books on some of history’s most important figures for the general and college educated market. We asked musician, entreprenuer and founder Charles Carlini to delve into why this new brand of historical biographies could make history.

Our approach to learning is based on “The Great Man (or Woman) Theory,” a notion spawned in the 19th century by Thomas Carlyle, a Scottish historian, philosopher and author. This theory states that we learn about the world through the achievements of people who made a significant impact on the lives of their contemporaries and generations that followed them.
