Ana Black thinks a villa on a Greek Island will be the perfect summer holiday but her plans don’t include Alexander Petrakis. He’s an ancient warrior who thinks he’s Immortal, says he’s waited 2000 years for her to return and claims she’s his reincarnated lover, a woman he freely admits he failed to protect in her past life. Even if she believes him and gives him a second chance, what hope he won’t fail her again?
With a past she cannot escape and a future he cannot accept, all they have is the present. Will they find a way or are they both out of time?

Interview
1. Where do you get your ideas?
From my subconscious. As a clinical Psychologist I use a mind-control programming technique to instruct my subconscious to give me a story, characters etc either in a dream format or as an active imagination meditation. It’s really very simple to do, just takes a little practice. The cellular memory that it can bring forth is much richer and more interesting than the memory the conscious mind has available.
2. Name your top five favorite books.
Too hard. I can give you five favorite authors though across a wide and diverse genre and time periods. Chekhov, Katherine Mansfield, Collette, Louis Lamour and Marius Gabriel.
3. How do you handle writer’s block?
I don’t get writer’s block and I don’t believe it exists. It is just a matter of different things competing for attention and the ability to focus, concentrate and pay attention. When my characters stop talking to me and revealing their stories it is because I am floundering around in my own conscious brain rather than trusting my subconscious to deliver what it wants to. Then I just do step 1 above.
4. What inspired you to write this book?
My subconscious gave it to me in a dream. I wrote it down over a couple of years in third person in 100,000 words, but threw them away when I realized that wasn’t the voice I had been given them in. Then I rewrote it in first person over 12 weeks in the heroines voice, called it the Omega series and tossed out all the alpha POV which cut it back to 70,000 words. This made it immediate, tight, fast-paced and more entertaining. (Alphas are a bit gloomy I find and when I let them talk in their own voice I find they don't always sound that smart, which is not what I think at all. I love them, I just don’t think they can communicate to my readers as well as my heroines can.)
5.What’s the hardest part of being an author?
It’s sedentary. You have your bum in a chair for hours and hours on end and when you’re on a roll you don’t dare or want to even get up or pee or get a cuppa! And when it’s going slow or you’re editing or writhing in the middle of the night you have to think a lot which requires sustenance, nibbles, coffee, chocolate, often alcoholic beverages. And then there are all your writer friends you have to keep up with or keep informed through emails, face-book, blogs, websites, launches, cover reveals, writing holidays, get togethers, etc etc. So there is a tendency for even the youngest, beautiful, tanned, slim authors to get a little older, pale, tubby or bottom heavy as the years go by. It can be an occupational hazard which is why it’s better to have your author photography done early in your career, head shots preferably, and just keep using it. (Romance authors love each other regardless of poundage but fans can be a little more sensitive to change especially the ones who confuse their authors with their heroines)
