My review of the Apple Watch

I have been using my Apple Watch (watchOS 2.0, medium 42mm Stainless Steel Case with Midnight Blue Leather Loop) for two weeks now and my first impressions  are as follows:

Likes:

• Comfortable to wear
• Easy to put on and off
• Stylish look and design
• Choice of different models and sizes available
• Highly customisable and personalised
• Battery life (2 days approx.)
• Battery charge time (1 hour approx.)
• Automatic Bluetooth synchronisation/pairing with Apple iPhone
• Useful for managing notifications on Apple iPhone
• Use of "Hey Siri" for calling and texting without the need of external power (like on the Apple iPhone)
• Management of Apps to synchronise via Apple Watch App
• Activity, Workout and Heartbeat Apps useful in encouraging personal health and fitness
• Integration with Health App on Apple iPhone
• Glances feature to access your favourite Apps
• Security of data on Apple Watch (Mark As Missing feature and Passcode)
• Haptics functionality
• Take photos on your iPhone via the Apple Watch
• Quick and easy to install/uninstall Apps
• Multiple time zones
• Connect with your contacts quickly from Favourites button
• Pay for purchased items securely via Apple Pay
• Use of the crown for scrolling
• Monitor Apple Watch battery from your Apple iPhone

Dislikes:

• Number of Default Replies for Mail and Messages is limited
• Wake Screen appears during driving when not required
• Unable to change Sounds
• Speed of data refresh on Weather and Maps Apps
• Alarms on Apple Watch do not synchronise with alarms on Apple iPhone
• Range of different models and sizes available is confusing
• Text messages from Apple Watch are sent as SMS rather than iMessage
• App Layout alignment
• Unable to read all content of news stories in BBC App

Wish-list:

• Increased notification support for more Apps (Facebook, WhatsApp, PayPal)
• Torch light
• Self-facing camera (for selfies)
• Increase memory storage (currently 6GB)
• Being able to share news stories in BBC App via social media and email
• Siri Voice Feedback
• Record video
• Wi-Fi connectivity
• Web browser App
• Text type support
