The countdown to Opening Night is officially on. The roster is set, the ice is ready and the Springfield Falcons are ready to kickstart the 2015-16 season. The Falcons will field a new team from last year after entering an affiliation agreement with the Arizona Coyotes in the offseason.
Under new coach Ron Rolston, Springfield will begin its quest for the Calder Cup on Saturday, when the Falcons host a longtime rival, the Hershey Bears. Here is a look at the Falcons roster for the season.

Puck drop for the home opener is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Prior to the contest, the Falcons will host a Block Party event on Falcons Way, with all fans in attendance entered for a chance to shoot for $25,000 during the second intermission.
