Taylor Swift’s 1989 tour continues through the end of the year, but after it concludes, she may take a well-deserved break.

In her latest cover story with NME, she said, “How could the next one be as big? Maybe the next album will be a bridge to somewhere else. Or maybe I’ll just go ahead and change everything.”

When asked about what’s ahead, Swift said, “I think I should take some time off. I think people might need a break from me. I’m going to… I don’t know. Hang out with my friends. Write new music. Maybe not write new music. I don’t know.”

1989 debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, sold over a million copies in its first week, and went on to become the best-selling album of 2014 in the U.S. Her tour, meanwhile, has included a panoply of celebrity guests, including Julia Roberts, Mick Jagger and more.
