Due to Covid, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is looking to start a garden in Perry and possibly surrounding communities. To help with food insecurity as well as an opportunity for people to be outside and connect socially to improve mental health. We look forward to providing other educational opportunities at the garden location including programs with Master Gardeners, Human Sciences, nutrition, and youth.
We are gauging interest in participating in either a community garden plot or volunteering to help with growing produce and maintaining a donation garden.
When answering the questions please consider the following definitions.
