Obama perfectly trolls Republicans after Benghazi fiasco hearing with hilarious ‘grumpy cat’ meme

President Obama subjected "gloomy" Republicans to some lighthearted trolling in a brief video posted to Twitter by ABC News.

Republicans may be feeling blue because their Benghazi investigation is being bashed as a wasteful, partisan witch hunt that may have only served to provide Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton with a public image and campaign funding boost, but Obama said they're just generally down on America.

"Overall though, we are making enormous progress and it does make you wonder why is it that Republican politicians are so down on America," he said. "Have you noticed that? I mean they are gloomy. They're like Grumpy Cat."

He then mimicked the face of the Internet's favorite cat, a blue-eyed kitty whose downward scowl has inspired many memes.
