The Prenote!

Don't miss it! 9:00 on Friday! Get a good seat for Dries's keynote!
A DrupalCon institution, the opening "Prenote" has been getting people out of bed early and excited about DrupalCon since 2010. What's not to like about an infotainment extravaganza featuring Drupal community stars and friends; music and sing-a-longs; bad jokes; technical tutorials on Git, yodelling, use of the alphabet, or proper beer pouring technique? Especially eye-opening if you've never been to DrupalCon or never gotten up early enough to see one of these yet.

You will also build native mobile applications for Android and iOS. If you want to build API’s in Drupal and build applications - Mobile or Front-end on top of it, this class is for you!

A Drupal website can look pretty ordinary out-of-the box, but the look and feel of Drupal is actually really flexible. You can modify the HTML, add CSS and Javascript, change the layout, and make it all responsive. In this course, you'll learn how to build a Drupal theme to customize the look and feel of your Drupal site. We'll cover all the bases of theme development, from adding CSS to using Twig templates and preprocess functions.

This course is ideal for designers and developers who have an HTML/CSS background and want to get into Drupal theming and who are responsible for developing or maintaining a custom Drupal theme. It will also be useful for Drupal 7 themers who want to upgrade their skills.

Join this free workshop if you are familiar with Drupal but new to Drupal contribution. This hands-on workshop will cover the basics of contribution essentials like the Drupal.org issue queues and IRC, and optionally git and setting up Drupal 8 on your laptop.

Personalization is the next big wave in digital marketing. The days of “one-size-fits-all” marketing are over, and hyper-personalization is the new norm. Digital marketers and site owners are being asked to do more with less to engage customers, segment their audience, and offer highly tailored content. This course provides an introduction to the domain of Personalization and demonstrates ways in which Personalization and Dynamic Content can be implemented in Drupal.
