New 'Fight Song' Promo Shows Why SUPERGIRL & Rachel Platten Were Made For Each Other

CBS has released a fun new musical promo for their upcoming DC superhero drama Supergirl featuring footage from the pilot mashed together with the music video for Rachel Platten's hit single "Fight Song."

The hour-long drama centers on Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin, who was born on the planet Krypton and escaped amid its destruction years ago. Since arriving on Earth, she has been hiding the powers she shares with her famous cousin. But now at age 24, she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be.

that song and "Renegades" are basically the only song that commercials and promo's use. It's unbelievable how overplayed and overused it is. This show looks horrendous as well. Nothing more interesting than Sex and the City meets superhero.

I'm definitely not the target demographic and that's fine. Not everything needs to be made for me. I am a big fan of supergirl. So, I'll probably check it out. However, I do prefer the less friendly version of her. ;p
