The visitation, funeral and burial of longtime state Sen. Charles J. Colgan, a Prince William County Democrat who died on Tuesday at 90, have been set for early next week.

Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 9, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at All Saints Catholic Church, 9300 Stonewall Road in Manassas.

The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, at the church. Burial will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens, 12004 Lee Highway, Manassas.

Colgan, the longest-serving state senator in Virginia’s history, represented Prince William County in the chamber for 40 years. He retired in January 2016.
