After impressing diamond connoisseurs with the launch of her Rihanna x Chopard fine jewelry line back in May, Rihanna continues to show off her exceptional taste for all things diamond-related.
For the 2017 LVMH Young Fashion Designer Prize Ceremony in Paris on Friday, the “Wild Thoughts” singer donned some seriously expensive bling, including a pair of dazzling 8-carat Harry Kotlar round-cut diamond stud earrings worth a whopping $250,000.
The songstress paired her expensive baubles with a floor-length white eyelet dress fresh off the Christian Dior Resort Runway collection and made it her own by adding a black Dior hat, black pumps and red Dior leather bag. She finished her look off with gold chains from Au Vase de Delft and XIV Karats around her neck.
Rihanna presented the award to 25-year-old Marine Serre in the presence of jury members including Karl Lagerfeld, Dior’s Maria Grazia Chiuri, Louis Vuitton’s Nicolas Ghesquière, Loewe artistic director Jonathan Anderson, Céline’s Phoebe Philo and Kenzo designers Humberto Leon and Carol Lim. According to WWD, Rih said, “You designers are the future of fashion and I applaud you. From the bottom of my heart, congratulations, and don’t ever forget what you love, what inspires you and what has brought you this far.”
