JANUARY 9—PAN’S LABYRINTH (2006) - After moving with her mother into her cold step father’s house, Ofelia seeks refuge in a mysterious labyrinth she discovers next to the sprawling home. Pan, the guardian, a magical creature, reveals that she is none other than the long lost princess of a magical kingdom. To discover the truth Ofelia will have to accomplish three dangerous tasks, tasks which nothing has prepared her to face. (Rated R. 118 mins.)

While the West Coast was groovin’ to the sounds of the “Summer of Love” in 1967, Detroit was pumping out a hard-driving, gritty, raw sound that was “Louder Than Love.” (Not Rated. 75 mins.)

JANUARY 30—ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS (2016) - Alice returns on a wild ride back to Wonderland! The adventure begins when Alice embarks on a daring quest to save her dear friend the Hatter (Johnny Depp). Plunging back into the whimsical, topsy-turvy world of Wonderland with all her old companions and a host of zany new ones, Alice must take on Time himself to right a past wrong, find her muchness…and remember that nothing is impossible. FEBRUARY 6—SPOTLIGHT (2015) - The gripping true story about the Pulitzer Prize-winning investigation that uncovered a scandal that rocked one of the world’s oldest and most trusted institutions. Delving into allegations of child abuse within the local Catholic Archdiocese, a tenacious team of Boston Globe reporters exposes a decades-long cover-up that reaches the highest levels of Boston’s religious, legal, and government establishment. FEBRUARY 13—BORN TO BE BLUE (2016) - A re-imagining of jazz legend Chet Baker's musical comeback in the late '60s. Ethan Hawke lights up the screen as jazz legend and icon of cool, Chet Baker, whose comeback from heroin addiction is thrillingly told with wit, verve, and style to burn. Ethan Hawke, Carmen Ejogo, Callum Keith Rennie. (Rated R. 97 min.)

FEBRUARY 27—THE WAY (2010) – An inspirational story about family, friends and the challenges we face while navigating this ever-changing and complicated world. Martin Sheen plays Tom, an irascible American doctor who comes to France to deal with the tragic loss of his son (Emilio Estevez). Rather than return home, Tom decides to embark on the historical pilgrimage “The Way of St. James” to honor his son’s desire to finish the journey. What Tom doesn’t plan on is the profound impact this trip will have on him. Though unexpected and oftentimes amusing experiences along “The Way,” Tom discovers the difference between “the life we live and the life we choose.” (Rated PG-13. 121 mins.)


MARCH 6—THE LEGEND OF TARZAN (2016) - In this roaring action-adventure based on Edgar Rice Burroughs’ legendary creation, Alexander Skarsgard is Tarzan, who has left the jungles of Africa to live with his beloved wife, Jane (Margot Robbie), as John Clayton III, Lord Greystoke. Now he’s been invited back to the Congo to serve as an emissary, unaware that he’s a pawn caught in a deadly convergence of greed and revenge masterminded by Captain Leon Rom (Christoph Waltz). But those behind the murderous plot have no idea what they’re about to unleash. (Rated PG-13. 110 min.)

MARCH 13 —BROOKLYN (2015) - Oscar Nominee Saoirse Ronan lights up the screen as Eilis Lacey, a young Irish immigrant navigating through 1950s Brooklyn. Although her initial homesickness soon gives way to romance, when Eilis’s life is disrupted by news from her hometown, she is forced to choose between two countries and two men on opposite sides of the world. Based on the best-selling novel, Brooklyn is a warm and wonderful story about falling in love...and finding your way home. (Rated PG-13. 111 min.)

MARCH 20—THE EAGLE HUNTRESS (2016) - The story follows Aisholpan, a 13-year-old girl, as she trains to become the first female in twelve generations of her Kazakh family to become an eagle hunter, and rises to the pinnacle of a tradition that has been typically been handed down from father to son for centuries. (Rated G. 87 min.)

MARCH 27—DOCTOR STRANGE (2016) - After his career is destroyed, a brilliant but arrogant and conceited surgeon gets a new lease on life when a sorcerer takes him under her wing and trains him to defend the world against evil. Starring: Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong, Benedict Cumberbatch. (Rated PG-13. 115 min.)
