Over the past 30 years, Adoptions From The Heart has helped to create over 6,500 families!
Beginning in the basement of her home, Founder and Executive Director, Maxine Chalker couldn't even imagine how much of an impact her agency would have. Maxine, an adoptee herself with a closed adoption, had a vision to create an agency that would focus on openness to better serve all of the members of the adoption triad. Now having grown to eight offices in six states, that serve clients nationwide, Maxine's dream of creating an open adoption agency went from being a vision, to impacting thousands of lives.
