Dear Parents and Carers,

I would like to invite you to two events being hosted by IVC during the months of May and June:

College Coffee

At: The Geographer, 103 Station Rd, Impington, Cambridge CB24 9NP

On: Wednesday 24 May

From: 9:30am to 10:30am

Pint with the Principal

At: King William IV, 8 Church St, Histon, Cambridge CB24 9EP

On: Tuesday 27 June

From: 7pm to 9pm

This is an opportunity for parents/carers of students at IVC and parents/carers of Year 5 and 6 students at our local Junior Schools to meet with me and members of my senior team in an informal setting with no set agenda to discuss anything related to education at IVC or beyond. We know that the chances of success for the young people we educate are greatly enhanced if parents, students and the College have positive relationships and communicate effectively.

I believe that opportunities to meet in open forums such as these to freely discuss matters that are pertinent to your child’s education can only improve this dialogue between us.

I look forward to seeing a number of parents I have already met over the last 4 years and hopefully putting names to faces that I have communicated with via email or over the phone as well as introducing myself and my team to those of you yet to meet us.
