Synecore shifts HQ from Detling to Sittingbourne

A firm which specialises in fitting out major restaurants is moving its Kent headquarters.

Synecore has been based in Detling for the last 13 years, but on Friday will open its new head office in Sittingbourne as part of a five-year expansion and recruitment drive.

The company carries out mechanical and electrical fit out for the likes of Pret A Manger, Frankie and Benny's and the Leon food chains.

In 2011 it generated a turnover of £920,140 - in the last financial year to 2018 it was £7 million.

It moved to the site in Conqueror Court in order to capitalise on the potential workforce within the town.

The company’s managing director and co-founder, Paul Thomas explains: "Our current offices have served us well, but we have outgrown them. We need to embrace our success and look ahead.

“Our new offices at Conqueror Court will not only provide added space to expand, but Sittingbourne itself is a convenient location for us. It has good access to London, many of our staff are local to the area and there is potential access to a larger workforce in the future.

“Synecore continues to attract new clients and we need to ensure we still deliver the same level of customer care we have become renowned for. This means employing more staff and training the next generation of engineers.

“Our aim has always been to instil excellence and a good work ethic in all our recruits, which will ultimately benefit the industry as a whole. Our new offices will help us on this journey and we look forward to many more years of success at Conquer
