Maybe this has happened to you? You go to church on Sunday, you hear a great message, then by Monday you forget what you said "Amen" to!

Maybe your Bible is stuffed with all kinds of notes from church, maybe you keep a paper journal or you keep notes on your computer or phone. It's great to have the notes, but the problem is, how do you access them and apply them to your life?

The solution.

Godjotter is an online tool, designed to help you recall the many ways God is speaking to you. That might be in the Sunday message, during your time studying the Bible, through great books, as you journal, in your dreams and so on. Godjotter connects God with the “jotter” (you!)

Along with being a tool to organize and remember, Godjotter has grown into a tool where notes and videos can now be published by groups and downloaded by individuals.

What will your donation be used for?

We are creating an app to work with the website.

Why are we creating an app?

The Godjotter app will connect people with God, Monday - Saturday, not just on Sunday.

It will engage and push notifications to users when notes and highlights are available from their favorite groups.  Churches, ministries and ministry schools can stay connected with their followers and help them connect with God all week long.

Why are we now funding through donations? 

We started out as a for-profit corporation, with our hearts really being to give the profit away.  At launch, we charged a small fee to subscribe.  In 2015, God changed our hearts on how the business would look.  We felt God saying, “I love your heart. I love your idea.  But, how about if we do it my way?”  So, giving the driver’s seat back to God, we made Godjotter completely free to groups and individuals. Godjotter became a non-profit and in June of 2016, we officially received 501c3 status.  We are now funding through donations.

What’s our story?

God is certainly faithful. Funding and developing the Godjotter website has been a great journey and test of our faith. After losing our home and savings in 2008, we reached a point where we felt pretty hopeless. We were starting over and, to be honest, weren't sure how we would recover.  It was at that point that God gave Tom the idea for a tool, one that would help organize all the notes stuffed in his Bible. For us — funding the website project out of thin air it seemed — we have learned to lean on and trust in God's provision. Tempted time and time again to quit, the process has produced a tenacity to continue against all odds and we launched the website in 2013.  Since launch of the site, God has continued to help us improve Godjotter as a tool — we've added a group sign-up, removed the subscription (making Godjotter free) and made the switch to non-profit. Today, we are standing at an exciting crossroads, developing the Godjotter app.  As a non-profit, we are inviting you to join us! We believe God is going to use the app to reach people all over the world.

 Why does this mean so much? 

We want to help people stay connected with God all week long. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit.     John 15:5
