Aloha is set in beautiful Hawaii where Brian Gilcrest (Bradley Cooper) has just returned to try to revive his career. At the heart of this film, as with many of director Cameron Crowe’s films, is the often complicated dynamics of relationship; and Brian has a slew of complicated relationships. Brian now faces his former girlfriend, Tracy (Rachel McAdams) and their sordid past, as well as, his new interest and military escort, Allison Ng (Emma Stone). He also his complicated career and professional relationships to deal with as well.
