    YouTube has launched its own video streaming app and website, directly challenging Amazon’s Twitch in the growing gaming audience sector. Here are the things you need to know:

    1) ‘YouTube Gaming’ is an app and website focusing exclusively on gaming content, with an emphasis on live streams.

    2) It offers individual pages for more than 25,000 games, with each featuring videos and high-quality live streams.

    3) It aims to keep gamers connected to the best players and all the latest information about their scene.

    4) The site allows players to stream their own gameplay more easily, without needing to schedule an event in advance.

    5) It’s a direct competitor of Amazon owned Twitch, which according to The Wall Street Journal had over 100 million monthly viewers last year.
