Lady Gaga Threatening Legal Action Over Breast Milk Ice Cream Flavor 'Royal Baby Gaga'

London-based breast milk ice cream makers The Licktators could be headed to court. Lawyers for pop star Lady Gaga are allegedly threatening legal action against the company for its stomach-churning flavor "Royal Baby Gaga," reports The Independent. The singer's legal council claims that the name is confusing to consumers who might think Gaga endorses the product.

The flavor was introduced back in April to celebrate the birth of the second royal baby and donated breast milk. According to the The Mirror, the Licktators have been given 14 days to cease use of the name and remove all references the Gaga flavor from social media. Still the ice cream company isn't backing down. Nadine O'Connor, a representative for The Licktators says that the gag-inducing flavor "neither names nor features Lady Gaga, nor are her trademarks infringed." Adding: "We will not be bullied into removing content from social media relating to our product and subsequent media coverage. However, we will send complimentary tubs of our ice cream to Lady Gaga for chilling out to, as a gesture of peace and goodwill."

Believe it or not, this isn't the first time Lady Gaga has had to contend with a breast milk ice cream lawsuit. In 2011, the singer went after The Icecreamists for naming their product "Baby Gaga" and using a Lady Gaga impersonator for marketing.
