Do you have a love of photography? If so, you may already be looking forward to the 2016 Atlanta Celebrates Photography Festival coming up this October. Network 1 is eagerly anticipating the festival and particularly excited about the Picturing Justice exhibit.

This compelling collection of photographs features the works of five different artists, all documentary photographers whose works are a powerful illustration of the challenges many Americans face today.
The photographs portray housing inequity, disability issues, the working poor and children who rely on grandparents and other non-parental caregivers. These and similar challenges reflect the issues that Atlanta Legal Aid Society and its clients deal with on a daily basis.
Our own Alisa Michael served on the committee that helped organize the exhibition, which is presented by the Atlanta Legal Aid Society and curated by Louise Shaw and Mary Stanley. The artists represented are Sheila Pree Bright, Dustin Thomas Chambers, Matt Eich, Harvey Finkle and Bryan Meltz.
