Do you remember the first time you were swept up in the magical, two-dimensional world of Crockett Johnson’s Harold and the Purple Crayon? The beloved children’s book celebrates its 60th anniversary this fall, and other iconic children’s book illustrators have joined in the celebration, including Eric Carle (author and illustrator of The Very Hungry Caterpillar) and Robin Preiss Glasser (illustrator of Fancy Nancy).
