BEACHWOOD, Ohio -- We talk so often about how to build a concise and sophisticated wardrobe. Learn how to do it at the Foundations for Fall event to benefit Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital on Sept. 10, at Clothing Brigade at Beachwood Place.
Event hours are from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the store located on the first floor outside of Saks Fifth Avenue.
This benefit will feature guest Hallie Abrams, well-known personal stylist of The Wardrobe Consultant, and Clothing Brigade fashion buyer and stylist Sahm Hanson, who was also a Plain Dealer Fashion Flash subject. These two will discuss how to choose the best foundation pieces for your fall looks. They'll talk about what to look for in sweaters, jeans, jackets, shoes and accessories.
With the focus on what to style with jeans, examples of great looks will be shown on models and in a specially designed look book.
"This season, jeans will run the gamut from skinny to flare, and there is an art to how to put it all together and best pair it with the right shoes and accessories for the most impactful look," Abrams said in a press release.
Abrams and Hanson have put together a list of 15 foundation items that we all should consider for our cold-weather wardrobe:

Proceeds from sales that evening and through Sept. 13 will go to Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital.
