Not many places have a life-size teak tiger guarding their front door as the Upper Barn does! Actually, in this case, it has the head of a tiger on the
body of a leopard (those spots) but the seller called it a tiger, so a 'tiger' it is.
We hadn't intended to buy the original pair on our whirlwind shopping
expedition to Rajasthan (to equip the barn) but with a bit of spare space in the shipping container, they were hard to resist. |

Unhappily, one fell apart
after a few years of English weather but we managed to rescue its brother. |
