Ahead of the release of EW’s Shondaland cover, the ABC actor joined the Twittersphere to share a first look at the Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and How to Get Away with Murder casts united, with Pickens seated next to Scandal‘s Darby Stanchfield.

Fellow Grey’s star Sara Ramirez welcomed Pickens to the social media platform that he’s just getting the hang of with a little help from his daughter — and he’s also discovering the meaning of “squad goals.”

Fans can only hope to catch Pickens live-tweeting an episode or two this season when Grey’s Anatomy – and the rest of the TGIT line-up – returns Sept. 24 on ABC.
