Telluride Film Festival lineup: 'Steve Jobs,' 'Black Mass,' and 'Suffragette' to screen

The Telluride Film Festival has announced its official program selections for the 42nd festival with an eclectic lineup of feature films, documentaries, and a few special tributes to artists like director Danny Boyle, documentary filmmaker Adam Curtis, and actress Rooney Mara.

Boyle’s Steve Jobs, which stars Michael Fassbender as the late Apple head, will screen for the first time at Telluride, as will Sarah Gavron’s Suffragette, about the early English women’s rights movement, and Lenny Abrahamson’s Room. Scott Cooper’s Black Mass, starring Johnny Depp as James “Whitey” Bulger, and Tom McCarthy’s Spotlight, which tells the story of the Boston Globe reporters who uncovered a sex scandal in the Catholic Church, will make their North American debuts. Documentaries like Charles Ferguson’s Time to Choose and Davis Guggenheim’s He Named Me Malala will also screen.

The festival will run Sept. 4 through Sept. 7. See the full lineup of feature films below:
