Nottingham and Nottinghamshire ECT service review
Have your say!
Have you, or someone you care for, ever used ECT services in Nottingham or Nottinghamshire?
Locally, the Greater Nottingham and Mid-Nottinghamshire CCGs are reviewing the mental health services they commission to ensure they are fit for the future and and would love to hear your feedback.
We are currently looking at Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). ECT is a treatment for severe symptoms of depression, mania and catatonia. Currently, the service runs from Millbrook Hospital and Nottingham University Hospital's Queens Medical Centre. We're considering moving the service to one location, with more scope for service development but need to hear what you think to help inform a decision.

We are interested in the views of both people who have used the services themselves and their carers and families.
We're also interested in the views of any people who have used NHS mental health services, who might have a view on distance to travel for treatment.
