Two of Hollywood’s biggest nerds are uniting for one night only.

The Montclair Film Festival has announced that Stephen Colbert will host an evening with J.J. Abrams on stage at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark on Nov. 21. The “Stephen Colbert and J.J. Abrams: Celebrity Nerd-Off!” will feature the new host of The Late Show and the director of Star Wars: The Force Awakens discussing their own work, as well as their influences and ideas.

“We remain incredibly grateful to Stephen Colbert for his unwavering support of our organization,” the festival’s executive director Tom Hall said. “To be able to host a visionary filmmaker like J.J. Abrams is a dream come true and we could not be more excited. This promises to be a great night.”

The MFF will also team up with Omaze to raffle off a special fan experience, with details to be revealed soon. Proceeds from the raffle will help support the MFF’s year-round film and education programs.

“Stephen Colbert is a national treasure and the Montclair Film Festival has quickly established itself as America’s most important new celebration of movies and moviemakers,” NJPAC president and CEO John Schreiber said. “We’re delighted to welcome them back to the Arts Center for a unique night of fun and fundraising.”

Tickets will range from $59.50 to $250 and will go on sale Sept. 11 at 10 a.m. For more information, visit montclairfilmfest.org, and check out the poster for the event below.
