#GivingTuesday
Did you know that giving is good for your health? More than that, your financial support and engagement are directly proportional to the health and strength of our denomination. To learn more about the 2020 goals of Mennonite Church USA, read "Generosity impacts our lives," by Executive Director Glen Guyton at http://mennoniteusa.org/menno-snapshots/generosity-impacts-our-lives/

Please pray for the Conference Ministers Gathering, a meeting of conference ministers from Mennonite Church USA and Mennonite Church Canada, on Dec. 4-7 in Banff, Alberta, Canada.

The Executive Board formed a new Membership Guidelines Advisory Group to recommend a process for continuing the church’s conversation on its Membership Guidelines. The group met for a one-time working session last month in Chicago, Illinois.  Menno Snapshots
This year, Mennonite Church USA Archives launched an oral history project to collect interviews of young people between the ages of 24-40 within MC USA. Participants answered questions about their religious background, racial/ethnic identity and hopes for the future of MC USA. Excerpts from these interviews will be regularly featured in the Menno Snapshots blog: http://mennoniteusa.org/tag/oral-history-project/

#BringThePeace
Two Mennonite Church USA conferences voted unanimously to unite, ending a 172-year split. Read about this historic event at: http://mennoniteusa.org/news/two-conferences-unite-healing-split/

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people." Luke 2:10. The Mennonite Church USA staff wishes you joy this Christmas, as we work together to continue sharing the good news of Jesus every day.

For ideas on Christmas home worship and a free coloring page, download “Waiting and Wondering," this year’s Advent At Home booklet for families and people of all ages, at http://mennoniteusa.org/resource/advent-at-home/.

 Menno Snapshots
What does it mean to be a “community church?” Pastor Danilo Sanchez distinguishes between churches that go into the community and those that invite the community to come in.
