Hi Mountain Trekker,

It happens to the best of us. Sometimes life feels like it's stagnating and we're stuck in a rut. Not to fear! Here are 8 ways to fall back in love with your life again this Valentine's Day:

#1. Travel. Nothing shakes things up better than a change of scenery. And some of the best scenery on earth surrounds our lodge in British Columbia in the Spring. Show yourself some love and travel to our world-class health and fitness retreat where we'll pamper you and help get you back to feeling healthy & fit again.

#2. Hire a lifestyle coach. Occasionally we need someone else's help to make improvements in our lives. Consider contacting Dr. Josh Klapow, who is now offering support services for those partaking in our program.

#3. Show yourself some love by doing something just for you this Valentine's Day, such as buying yourself flowers or visiting a day spa. Here are some other ideas.

#4. Exercise. There's no better way to release endorphins and trigger a euphoric feeling than exercising. You could go for a brisk hour-long walk around the block or you can enrol in Mountain Trek and have our expert staff guide you through a personalized fitness program.

Another way to fall back in love with your life is to start sleeping better. When we're well rested, our bodies and our minds are better able to cope with daily stressors. In this instructive video, we enlisted the help of Mountain Trek’s yoga teacher and fitness instructor Katya Hayes to show us some relaxing bedtime yoga techniques that will help you prepare for a deep and restful sleep.
#5. Let someone cook for you. And let that someone be our head chef Bonnie VanTassel who creates culinary delights that are healthy and yummy.

#6. Take a walk in nature. Science has proven that immersing yourself in a forest or park reduces anxiety and boosts your mood.

#7. Build healthy habits. Download our Health Guide In Your Pocket app today and start taking steps to creating habits that make you feel good about yourself.

#8. Prioritize yourself. Too often we get caught up putting the lives of our children, parents or partners first. This Valentine's Day, put yourself first by booking a stay at Mountain Trek. (And then, as the perfect gift for someone you love, book them a stay as well.)

Yours in health,
