HUNTSVILLE, AL – Owners of a Huntsville coffee shop say the theft of equipment from a food truck they operate cost them about $10,000.

Local media outlets report the owners of Angel’s Island Coffee came to work to find someone had stolen two gas-powered generators mounted on the food truck they began operating about three months ago.

Co-owner Matthew Wright says the truck is out of commission without the generators, so part of the monetary loss Angel’s Island has suffered is in lost sales.

Wright says police have been notified of the theft, which he believes happened Saturday night. He hopes others who might know who took the generators will come forward.
